With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomir Waldoch saved Lekko Spoceni from getting behind. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Lekko Spoceni's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Lekko Spoceni's Ludomir Waldoch managed to reach the ball for a save. After 11 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Lekko Spoceni players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Ludomir Waldoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Borys Walentowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoni Piesciuk made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ludomir Rozanski however managed to control. When Salvador Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Salvador Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lekko Spoceni booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borys Walentowicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 47 minutes into the match, Lekko Spoceni's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Ludomir Waldoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Leper in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Lekko Spoceni's Borys Walentowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Ludomir Waldoch in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ludomir Waldoch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lekko Spoceni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Ludomir Waldoch, making the score, 1-2. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Waldoch having to interfere. A hard shot 73 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Ludomir Waldoch managed to make a qualified save. Lekko Spoceni's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Walentowicz in the 74th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Piesciuk got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edward Leper. Tomas Illescas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Ludomir Waldoch 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludomir Waldoch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Lekko Spoceni getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Michal Klocko hit a great ball. Gustaw Soliwoda tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ludomir Waldoch. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-4 in the 87th minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lekko Spoceni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
