After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Lozovan. After 12 minutes, Marco Tamayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Limoeiro-PE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Fabiano Fontes scored 3-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Lozovan struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limoeiro-PE FC. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Lozovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Valentino Ferrant's late challenge caught a Limoeiro-PE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentino Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Luis Rubio hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Robert Lozovan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 5-0. Limoeiro-PE FC's Doni Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Robert Lozovan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lozovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Lozovan was the one to do the kick off. Gino do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Raphael Macedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 58th minute, Gino do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 61 minutes, Doni Barbosa made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Gino do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Lozovan in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Limoeiro-PE FC's Doni Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Luís Fabiano Fontes took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Limoeiro-PE FC's Jorginho de Queiroz. But to his dismay, Jorginho de Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Limoeiro-PE FC made a substitution. Edgar Cabral replaced Gino do Valle. 79 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Lozovan came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Lozovan in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Edgar Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Lozovan in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Robert Lozovan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marco Tamayo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Limoeiro-PE FC fully deserved thier win.
