Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Bonpland United's Orlando Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Bonpland United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 10th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Sengrat hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bonpland United getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Urbano Vincente hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Carlos Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Maximiliano Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Guido Eufrasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Orlando Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Fanuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute of the match Bonpland United got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guido Eufrasio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Orlando Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 61st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Fanuco having to interfere. With his leg Orlando Fanuco managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Maximiliano Teofilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Orlando Fanuco in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 minutes Bonpland United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Bonpland United's Orlando Fanuco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Bonpland United from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Bonpland United's Orlando Fanuco got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bonpland United.
