The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when Leeds United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leeds United FC's Elliott Levander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Nicklas Hultman in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. After having played for 54 minutes, Börje Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leeds United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Lindsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Kvist in the 59th minute of the match. Elliott Levander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Villa went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the match, Leeds United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Elliott Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 70th minute of play forced Leeds United FC's goalkeeper Elliott Levander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicklas Hultman hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball.
