In the 20th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 庞骏战 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when 杜光钢 sent off a good shot on target. After 22 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manzanedo. In the 28th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. Chile's Pedro Indiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 庞骏战 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. 庞骏战 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. 庞骏战 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irvine Marcello in the 56th minute of the match.
