Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) El Salvador's Moises Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phil Darling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Devin Tisserand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Lorenzo Yepes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 28th minute of play forced Kill-Animals's goalkeeper Phil Darling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marty Salter. After a defensive mix-up in Kill-Animals's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phil Darling came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Marc MacDonald in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Leach in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Louis Leach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kill-Animals's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis Leach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Salter came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Cummings charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Cummings the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Eusebio Cummings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Darling having to interfere. If Devin Tisserand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devin Tisserand in the 78th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Phil Darling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Kill-Animals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guadalupe Schroeder to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Mateo Leguizamo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kill-Animals's Phil Darling didn't even have to move. El Salvador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
