In the 4th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Nonatos United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Luis Andino to score against Richard-Dean Textex in Nonatos United's goal. 0-1 after 4 minutes. Eurico Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match Nonatos United got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Nonatos United's Eurico Viana in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Nonatos United's goalkeeper Richard-Dean Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Gisbert made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Eurico Viana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eurico Viana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Richard-Dean Textex in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Viana in the 65th minute of the match. Nonatos United's Téo da Silva was substituted for Eurico Viana. After 70 played minutes Nonatos United got a freekick which was hit by Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nonatos United's Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A nice corner shot did that Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Téo da Silva came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Téo da Silva advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-3 in the 88th minute. Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Nonatos United from getting a goal against them. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
