With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Cremonese's Witold Ciempa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Cremonese fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Cremonese's Lu Guang Lang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 10th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cremonese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Colombia's Axel Montenegro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cremonese. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 17th minute of play forced Cremonese's goalkeeper Jeremias Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Ciempa came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Ciempa in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Chucho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 28th minute of play forced Cremonese's goalkeeper Jeremias Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cremonese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Cremonese's Jeremias Cruz managed to reach the ball for a save. Cremonese's Jeremias Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Guang Lang in the 36th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonel Valentim was slow to take the kick. During this time Cremonese's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cremonese's corner Leonel Valentim fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cremonese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. In the 41st minute, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd match minute, Cremonese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Gonzalez Pirez to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Jeremias Cruz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 54 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Guang Lang came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Witold Ciempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jeremias Cruz made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Cremonese's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Jeremias Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Cruz came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Cremonese's Jaime Porfiro was substituted for Israel Manex. Jeremias Cruz made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Jeremias Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 78th minute of play. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Cruz having to make a save. A collision led to Cremonese getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ingvar Lundqvist hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Cremonese's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Abram Secada got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeremias Cruz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jeremias Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Abram Secada, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jeremias Cruz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Abram Secada came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play.
