Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jama Macia saved Modroñes from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Obiaga. 11 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Modroñes's Jama Macia. Jama Macia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jama Macia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jama Macia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xurde Rafecas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Xurde Rafecas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Modroñes's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Jama Macia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jama Macia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of the match. Jama Macia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. Cristian Sancho scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jama Macia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jama Macia having to make a save. A collision led to Modroñes getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Paz Ceberiche hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jama Macia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The Modroñes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-4.

After 57 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Presedo in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Sergio Obiaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Modroñes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Urdiales didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Jama Macia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jama Macia. That made the score 1-7 in the 74 minute of play. Chalá Albertos's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chalá Albertos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Modroñes's Chalá Albertos got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Modroñes's Jama Macia. Jama Macia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Lisandro Presedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modroñes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luis Andino 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-9. In the 91st match minute, Modroñes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chalá Albertos to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense.
