Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When MLM's Tomás Quadros in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the match, MLM's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bob Cazeneuve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Cazeneuve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Cazeneuve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, MLM's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomás Quadros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bob Cazeneuve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bob Cazeneuve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bob Cazeneuve was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced MLM's goalkeeper Bob Cazeneuve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after MLM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MLM made a substitution. Armando Alabern replaced Charro Alavedra. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Almir Carioca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Almir Carioca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tomás Quadros made the kick off in the second half. Bob Cazeneuve didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Felix Montenegro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 54th playminute. Bob Cazeneuve came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, MLM's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bob Cazeneuve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Cazeneuve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MLM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Bob Cazeneuve, making the score, 0-6. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 76th minute. Henrik Tidén scored 1-6 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Bob Cazeneuve in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavian Revuelta during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xavian Revuelta kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bob Cazeneuve having to make a save. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MLM throughout the match.
