Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Lu Ladron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Motta Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th minute Válbson de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson de Alcântara in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 10th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson de Alcântara in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Válbson de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 32nd minute, Abram Luque had to leave the field with a concussion. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Motta Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Leguizamo, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Válbson de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motta Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Válbson de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Válbson de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson de Alcântara. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Válbson de Alcântara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Artur Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Artur Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. A hard shot 68 in the game by Válbson de Alcântara from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Zorita managed to make a qualified save. El Salvador's players were relieved. When Válbson de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Motta Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válbson de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. When Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. 80 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lu Ladron. 81 minutes into the match, Luizão Domingues dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 0-10. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Ao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Válbson de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson de Alcântara. Motta Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Danilo Arantes in the 91st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of El Salvador's goalie and right to Armandinho Carvalho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. El Salvador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Artur Sabóia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Zorita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Motta Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Salvador.
