Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronaldinho Meira took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with José Pedro Abraão in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Meira in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Carlos Augusto Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jorge Sá was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Lima in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg José Pedro Abraão managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 26 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Meira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Martins in the 32nd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Meira in the 41st minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Meira in the 44th minute of play. Alexander Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Kaká Sampaio didn't quite understand what happened when in the 48 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. José Pedro Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 66 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Elói Penha. In the 68th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Morro Grande E.C's Ronaldinho Meira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Ronaldinho Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Ronaldinho Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Meira came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morro Grande E.C played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
