Luca Rouco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Luca Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Barbaros Bozbey. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani. But to his dismay, Xande Cavani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xande Cavani was the one to do the kick off. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's attentive Erland Trolle managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Xande Cavani could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Mexico booed when VERDOLAGA CITY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Brinker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barbaros Bozbey. Barbaros Bozbey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Erland Trolle hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Barbaros Bozbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Barbaros Bozbey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Erland Trolle managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 90 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xande Cavani in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Xande Cavani succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-3 in the 94th playminute. VERDOLAGA CITY FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
