Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Fred Hellqvist made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Mexico booed when Kumla BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Västberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Per Forss made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvin Bäckman during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alvin Bäckman kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Fred Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Fred Hellqvist in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Kumla BK's Fred Hellqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Kumla BK's Calle Vester got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kumla BK's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Hellqvist came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Forss in the 41st minute of play. Ulf Ahlqvist hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of play forced Kumla BK's goalkeeper Fred Hellqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Hellqvist saved Kumla BK from getting behind. 56 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fred Hellqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fred Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Alberto Tafalla put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fred Hellqvist. After 65 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kumla BK's Fred Hellqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Hellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 73rd minute of play. Mexico's Joel Gaona pulled a muscle in his back after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mexico made a substitution. Bautista Elvira replaced Joel Gaona. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Vester in the 79th minute of play. Fred Hellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Hellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bautista Elvira in the 86th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Forss, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Lautaro Mancebo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kumla BK's Fred Hellqvist did a great save.
