Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barış İdilkurt. Barış İdilkurt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Barış İdilkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when DerbedeR spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Servet Uğursan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barış İdilkurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barış İdilkurt saved DerbedeR spor from getting behind. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ümit Sarih to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Barış İdilkurt made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of DerbedeR spor's Barış İdilkurt. Barış İdilkurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barış İdilkurt came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Primitivo Andino. But to his dismay, Primitivo Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. In the 79th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barış İdilkurt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Ümit Sarih might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ümit Sarih ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Barış İdilkurt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Barış İdilkurt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Barış İdilkurt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Andino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 88 minute of play. Barış İdilkurt was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-14.
