Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Mihály Szikora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Mihály Szikora put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's attentive Sebastian Villa managed to snatch the ball when Márton Salgó made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Pál Benkó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 14th minute of the match. Márton Salgó made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roland Havas. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Pál Benkó was a little too slow when Sebastian Villa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. Tibor Dudics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match, Sebastian Villa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pál Benkó saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Máté Szekeres hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pál Benkó, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th minute, Márton Petres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rdth minute of the game Mihály Szikora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihály Szikora in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pál Benkó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Ocampo's late challenge caught a Leeds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Ocampo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Leeds's Gábor Kádár broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Leeds booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Márton Salgó in the 76 minute of the game. Mihály Szikora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Leeds's Roland Havas got a free kick in the 86th minute. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tibor Dudics showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 95 minute of play.
