Tolga Tur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ertan Dadaloğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necati Daman to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Ertan Dadaloğlu. Ertan Dadaloğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ertan Dadaloğlu came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Ardahan Çelebioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Oğuz Zahit hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ertan Dadaloğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Tolga Tur got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ertan Dadaloğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Ertan Dadaloğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ertan Dadaloğlu made a huge save. With a little luck, Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Ertan Dadaloğlu got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ertan Dadaloğlu was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-5. After a rather tough play, Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Ali Savaş got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ertan Dadaloğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Ertan Dadaloğlu to make any attempt to save it. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tolga Tur came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89's Necati Daman got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Necati Daman off the ground. Ertan Dadaloğlu made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertan Dadaloğlu having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Fc Kangal™SİVAS 89 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuz Zahit didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ardahan Çelebioğlu in the 94th minute of play. Tolga Tur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
