In the 36th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Xie Bang Ang in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abram Secada's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xie Bang Ang firmly grabbed it by the left post. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save ARedonditos de Ricota CFK from getting a goal against them. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
