Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Motta Rello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hüsamettin Civanmert got free with Julio Vera in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hüsamettin Civanmert hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Alvaro Giusto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, San Michele AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Motta Rello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Michele AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 25 minutes into the game, Alvaro Giusto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Michele AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Alvaro Giusto hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in San Michele AFC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Motta Rello came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Motta Rello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 31st minute of play. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Motta Rello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennis Mosca charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Mosca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when San Michele AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Mosca didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 42 in the game by Alvaro Giusto from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Giusto made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Alvaro Giusto made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Giusto in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Motta Rello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Anastasio Tome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Motta Rello made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after San Michele AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Motta Rello in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Michele AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Giusto in the 65th minute of play. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Motta Rello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Motta Rello was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Felix Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, San Michele AFC's Hüsamettin Civanmert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. San Michele AFC's Anastasio Tome managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 82 minute of the game. Hüsamettin Civanmert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes San Michele AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Tome. In the 95th minute, Hüsamettin Civanmert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Michele AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
