Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Eligijus Abakevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bucaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Eligijus Abakevičius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eligijus Abakevičius in the 7th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Nando Muslera in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bucaspor's Nando Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 22nd minute of play. Nando Muslera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. If Gregorie Lievens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregorie Lievens scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorie Lievens in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Gregorie Lievens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 40 minutes of play, Bucaspor's Gregorie Lievens made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorie Lievens to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorie Lievens in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Bucaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Nando Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorie Lievens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Nando Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. Gregorie Lievens might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorie Lievens ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorie Lievens in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bucaspor booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 82nd minute of play forced Bucaspor's goalkeeper Nando Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bucaspor the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bucaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ender Torcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Bucaspor's Hüsmen Emekli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hüsmen Emekli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bucaspor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hüsmen Emekli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Bucaspor's Ender Torcan got a free kick in the 96th minute. Although Ecuador had been in control for most of the match, Bucaspor still came away with the win.
