Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Guansa's Esteban José Andrada got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Felix Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guansa's Esteban José Andrada did a great save. After 9 minutes, Felix Montenegro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guansa's Esteban José Andrada tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban José Andrada made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 17 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Esteban José Andrada made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Guansa's Esteban José Andrada. Esteban José Andrada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteban José Andrada. Felix Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Sandalio came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Aznar in the 34th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban José Andrada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Guansa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eloy Aznar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Aaron Sandalio took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Anselmo Txilar hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

In the 50th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Sandalio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Aaron Sandalio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban José Andrada was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban José Andrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play. Esteban José Andrada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Sandalio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Esteban José Andrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Guansa's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anselmo Txilar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban José Andrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
