The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matías Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 7th minute of play forced Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goalkeeper Matías Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montes made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Matías Cavalcante managed to reach the ball for a save. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin-Maximilian De Jésus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matías Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Matías Cavalcante. Matías Cavalcante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matías Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Matías Cavalcante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Tião Tasso hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tião Tasso during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matías Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matías Cavalcante came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Tião Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
