Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Målare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarl Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Eddie Tinglöf tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens Apelkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarl Gunnarsson was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Calle Målare ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 played minutes Schmeissen FC got a freekick which was hit by Jim Lövgren. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milagros Fraga during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Gustavsson in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calle Målare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
