Mexico were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Polonia Division's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Grandison in the 21st minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Bryanne Kinnaird sent off a good shot on target. Polonia Division's Hetem Paloka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Polonia Division from getting a goal against them. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
