Luis Andino scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Witalis Chmielecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Niek Wander fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Witalis Chmielecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artur Rakiewicz in the 23rd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Bielatowicz in the 29th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Witalis Chmielecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Witalis Chmielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Niek Wander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Witalis Chmielecki came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radomil Bielatowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Witalis Chmielecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Witalis Chmielecki made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Witalis Chmielecki got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Witalis Chmielecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save MZKS Sharks Gdynia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play forced MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalkeeper Witalis Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalkeeper Witalis Chmielecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute. Witalis Chmielecki made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Witalis Chmielecki got control of the ball when Luis Andino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Witalis Chmielecki made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witalis Chmielecki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of play forced MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalkeeper Witalis Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witalis Chmielecki having to interfere. Ecuador played a much better game than MZKS Sharks Gdynia and deserved their victory. The MZKS Sharks Gdynia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
