The supporters of Mexico booed when ФК Фанагория was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Bergamini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Brent-Jan Turpin sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes ФК Фанагория got a freekick which was hit by Encho Angelkov. Encho Angelkov kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Diamantino Nunes managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
