In the 13th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, A.D.E.Penamacorense's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Diogo Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 24th minute Cristiano Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sílvio Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of A.D.E.Penamacorense booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 minutes A.D.E.Penamacorense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Diogo Castro. A.D.E.Penamacorense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of A.D.E.Penamacorense's Diogo Castro. Diogo Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sílvio Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo Castro. Diogo Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Amaro went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. A.D.E.Penamacorense's Diogo Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save A.D.E.Penamacorense from getting a goal against them. Cristiano Viegas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Murillo in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, A.D.E.Penamacorense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albérico Vilhena to maneuver through the defense. A.D.E.Penamacorense's Juvenal Vasques was substituted for Roman Garaona. The supporters of Ecuador booed when A.D.E.Penamacorense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albérico Vilhena didn't get a good kick on the ball.
