Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 10 played minutes GALACTICOS got a freekick which was hit by Noel Hägele. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Dreer was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Noel Hägele kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Dreer having to interfere. Esteban Dreer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Mcdonald's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Esteban Dreer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Jenson Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half USA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save GALACTICOS from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Esteban Dreer in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 54th minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Nesta hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Hägele in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. After 69 played minutes GALACTICOS got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Palos. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Esteban Dreer made a huge save. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. After a rather tough play, GALACTICOS's Clóvis Lago got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Khalid Parry dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esteban Dreer, 0-2. Esteban Dreer came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Khalid Parry. But to his dismay, Khalid Parry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 85th minute, USA's Khalid Parry dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Khalid Parry took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Esteban Dreer to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GALACTICOS throughout the match.
