After 6 minutes, Agustín Saelices made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. F.C Un dia de partit's Gandolfo Sánchez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of F.C Un dia de partit's Gandolfo Sánchez. Gandolfo Sánchez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gandolfo Sánchez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Gandolfo Sánchez came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gandolfo Sánchez having to interfere. Gandolfo Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of the match. Gandolfo Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the F.C Un dia de partit defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gandolfo Sánchez. The F.C Un dia de partit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gandolfo Sánchez should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandolfo Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Gandolfo Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, F.C Un dia de partit's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gandolfo Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gandolfo Sánchez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandolfo Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gandolfo Sánchez made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gandolfo Sánchez. Gandolfo Sánchez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Gandolfo Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gandolfo Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 60th minute of the match. Gandolfo Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Gandolfo Sánchez in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gandolfo Sánchez. Gandolfo Sánchez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. In the 70th minute Juan Sebastián Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandolfo Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after F.C Un dia de partit's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 75 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gandolfo Sánchez, 0-13. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-15 from a short distance just to the right of Gandolfo Sánchez. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gandolfo Sánchez having to interfere. F.C Un dia de partit's Gandolfo Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-16 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gandolfo Sánchez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-17. Gandolfo Sánchez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The F.C Un dia de partit fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
