But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geraldo Trullols. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustav Siöberg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Arvin Ekerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Benknotorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Bure didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kurt Bure stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Gustav Siöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benknotorna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Siöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Benknotorna booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Ekerot having to interfere. The Honduras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
