Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Aurelio Rivas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. 4 minutes into the match, Fetiyerd's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Montes Quevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montes Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montes Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Peru were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Fetiyerd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Alonso Berganza made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Fetiyerd's Montes Quevedo managed to reach the ball for a save. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Mohamed Castelao made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Montes Quevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mohamed Castelao, made in the 15th minute of the game. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montes Quevedo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Aurelio Rivas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Montes Quevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Montes Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Rua got free with Rolando Noboa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes Fetiyerd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The throw-in from Mohamed Castelao in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Fetiyerd's Montes Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play. Fernan Arraz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Luz Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Rivas was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Tenorio took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Montes Quevedo. Montes Quevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Fetiyerd's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montes Quevedo came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Aurelio Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Rivas came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play forced Fetiyerd's goalkeeper Montes Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
