Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Noel Hägele got the match started through his kick off. Esteban Dreer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of the match. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Hägele, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Moises Gayoso threw the ball into play from the sideline. GALACTICOS's Alfredo Palos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Noel Hägele's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Noel Hägele got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. The throw-in from Dino Teles in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Esteban Dreer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Esteban Dreer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Esteban Dreer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Dreer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Alessandro Nesta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALACTICOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After 47 played minutes GALACTICOS got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Nesta.

In the 51st minute, Noel Hägele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 54 minutes into the game, Dino Teles threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Noel Hägele's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Eliseo Mina took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Esteban Dreer to make any attempt to save it. Eliseo Mina might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Dreer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mina ran back to his position shaking his head. After 61 minutes of play, GALACTICOS's Noel Hägele made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elco Vid kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Dino Teles threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With an all-out effort, Peru's Esteban Dreer threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, GALACTICOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Teles to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Dino Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Peru's attentive Efraim Gilabert managed to snatch the ball when Dino Teles made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. After having played for 89 minutes, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GALACTICOS's Noel Hägele got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Esteban Dreer in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The GALACTICOS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
