Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorival Alvarenga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 10 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dorival Alvarenga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Dorival Alvarenga in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 16 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo de Lara. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival Alvarenga got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorival Alvarenga took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. The supporters of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Janusz Derlanga in the 26th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Leonardo de Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 35th minute, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 37th minute, Leopoldo do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Janusz Derlanga. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janusz Derlanga kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Nilmar Brodel made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. José Luis Heidemann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 64 minutes, Dorival Alvarenga made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo de Lara in the 73rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF the free kick. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo de Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo de Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. After 83 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Luis Heidemann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dedê Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Janusz Derlanga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The supporters of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janusz Derlanga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
