When Matías Molina came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Centenario Bohemio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Molina couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Gonzalo Berterame fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Centenario Bohemio's Matías Donato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gonzalo Berterame scored 3-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Berterame's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Matías Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Berterame in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Donato in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Matías Molina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Matías Molina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Centenario Bohemio's Mauro Fontanini. But to his dismay, Mauro Fontanini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. A hard shot 67 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Andres Tavio managed to make a qualified save. Centenario Bohemio's players were relieved. In the 72nd match minute, Centenario Bohemio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Nisio to maneuver through the defense. Centenario Bohemio's Luís Eduardo López was substituted for Matías Donato. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Centenario Bohemio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Nisio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Gonzalo Berterame ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Fontanini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo López in the 97th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
