Olli Fiedler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olli Fiedler in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rdth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Sundin in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Ramiro Eufrasio got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Davison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Davison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Justino Roland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
