Wagner Kill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Daniel Agostini got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Sarmiento got free with Grzegorz Szamotulski in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Agostini came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wagner Kill in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Grzegorz Szamotulski was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Wagner Kill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Wagner Kill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. 70 minutes into the game, Pascual Carballar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diablofaryd F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Wagner Kill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diablofaryd F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wagner Kill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagner Kill in the 78th minute of the match. Wagner Kill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
