Pál Benkó was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihály Szikora in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Mario Fernandino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Leeds's Pál Benkó didn't even have to move. Leeds's Pál Benkó proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Leeds from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Márton Petres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Márton Petres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gábor Kádár charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gábor Kádár the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Leeds getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gábor Kádár hit a great ball. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihály Szikora in the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Imre Selymes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Imre Selymes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Mihály Szikora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihály Szikora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Mihály Szikora came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Leeds's Mihály Szikora made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Leeds's Tibor Dudics got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Tibor Dudics received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Dudics, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Márton Salgó with Márton Petres as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 69th match minute, Leeds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márton Salgó to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Leeds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Havas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alejandro Villa hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Márton Salgó threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bolivia's Francisco Gallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Dudics in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Krisztián Buday hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pál Benkó came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig. But to his dismay, Eduardo Fontirroig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Eduardo Fontirroig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihály Szikoras short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Camilo Freixa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pál Benkó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Mihály Szikora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihály Szikora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leeds had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
