The supporters of The dexters booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee showed Sebastian Cichowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Cichowski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Iwanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Jerzy Raschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 67th minute of the match Sebastian Cichowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sebastian Cichowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th match minute, The dexters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Cichowski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, The dexters's Sebastian Cichowski got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by The dexters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Berganza was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Panama's Tomas Berganza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radomil Rzeszutko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Tomas Berganza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and The dexters's Radomil Rzeszutko didn't even have to move. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute.
