Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Herberto Caiado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herberto Caiado in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Francisco Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Lima Team getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Patrício Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herberto Caiado in the 18th minute of play. Francisco Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Carlos Palmeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herberto Caiado in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Barroso in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Carlos Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Patrício Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Patrício Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob Barroso got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herberto Caiado in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lima Team getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Patrício Vasconcelos hit a great ball. If Carlos Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lima Team's Carlos Palmeira suffered a concussion after 66 minutes and had to leave the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herberto Caiado in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Jacob Barroso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lima Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. When Severiano Lucena came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Lima Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Lucena couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Herberto Caiado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 minutes of play, Lima Team's Herberto Caiado made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacob Barroso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lima Team had played much better football throughout.
