An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 32nd minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tor-Ivar Storm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Tor-Ivar Storm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tor-Ivar Storm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Antonio Tenorio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tor-Ivar Storm came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Tenorio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 94th minute. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
