Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alan Turin made the kick off which started today's match. When Efrain Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Efrain Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidoro Toribio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Turin in the 7th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alan Turin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Fernan Garoa scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Garrapatita Futbol's Fernan Garoa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 4-0 after 24 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Isidoro Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrapatita Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Toribio. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Garoa in the 34th minute of play. Fernan Garoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Baltasar Millano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garrapatita Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Alan Turin struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garrapatita Futbol. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a Garrapatita Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Albano Lorenz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Albano Lorenz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Hermengildo Jaume made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Garoa came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Corderun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Alan Turin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrapatita Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Turin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Garrapatita Futbol booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Turin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Fernan Garoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute Garrapatita Futbol were awarded a corner. Clodoveo Ignado went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Isidoro Toribio advanced and headed the ball into goal, 7-0 in the 74th minute. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Gorri went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Gorri in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Fernan Garoa made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Alfredo Gorri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garrapatita Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Garoa in the 96th minute of play. Garrapatita Futbol's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
