The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Buinton. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Tor-Ivar Storm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Buinton in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute La 雷锋 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from La 雷锋 in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor-Ivar Storm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tor-Ivar Storm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, La 雷锋 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tor-Ivar Storm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor-Ivar Storm having to interfere. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Peru's goalie and right to Carter Scudieri. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Peru's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 37th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. Tiago dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ghiţă Popescu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor-Ivar Storm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Buinton in the 43rd minute. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Tor-Ivar Storm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tiago dos Santos in the 87 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After taking down the ball on Shark FC - FSCMZ's corner Jânio Loureiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tor-Ivar Storm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
