Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Quentin Gonzalez kicked off to start the match. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Hidalgo in the 3rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Zarando Lastras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zarando Lastras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dionisio Hidalgo's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionisio Hidalgo helped the player get up and apologised. Dionisio Hidalgo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Zarando Lastras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play. Quentin Gonzalez struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Maravilla. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Hidalgo in the 51st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Atlético Maravilla's Shawn Seracino Inglott was substituted for Dionisio Hidalgo. The Atlético Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Maravilla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
