In the 8th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor-Ivar Storm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Shark FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Oscar Montaña hit a great ball. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor-Ivar Storm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor-Ivar Storm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Tor-Ivar Storm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Shark FC - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner led to Peru's Milagros Fraga getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 26th minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tor-Ivar Storm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when La 雷锋 scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Noboa, making the score, 1-1. Tor-Ivar Storm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Efraim Gilabert charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efraim Gilabert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shark FC - FSCMZ made a substitution. Marco Vianna replaced La 雷锋. Efraim Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Bartolo Buinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Vianna in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
