Charro Revuelta's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charro Revuelta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Spartak de Txurdi's Charro Revuelta got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Eulalio Majua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 53rd minute. Pang Chuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartak de Txurdi's Pang Chuan. But to his dismay, Pang Chuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Chile booed when Spartak de Txurdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğan Ferikoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartak de Txurdi's Pang Chuan. But to his dismay, Pang Chuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Spartak de Txurdi booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eulalio Majua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 80th minute. In the 95th minute, Raymond Kalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spartak de Txurdi made a substitution. Regis Jaen replaced Nickolas Horemans. Despite being the better team, Chile failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
