The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Andor Mester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Ocampo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andor Mester having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Ocampo came free, but Andor Mester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andor Mester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Ocampo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Szombathelyi Haladás players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Ocampo made a kick off. Andor Mester made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Ocampo in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes Szombathelyi Haladás's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joshua Secada who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Joshua Secada got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andor Mester quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Szombathelyi Haladás's Mózes Bartha in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 68thth minute of the game Mózes Bartha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andor Mester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Ocampo in the 71st minute of the match. István Szőlősi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Ocampo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from István Szőlősi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Roberto Ocampo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andor Mester, 0-4. 84 minutes into the match, Mózes Bartha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mózes Bartha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 88thth minute of the game Mózes Bartha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Ocampo got free with Andor Mester in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Szombathelyi Haladás supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Venezuela's performance. The match ended with a win for Venezuela.
