An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 16th minute of play forced Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Zacarias Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Zacarias Lucila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Zacarias Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The corner led Panama's Abraham Alguacil to fire away a dangerous shot which Zacarias Lucila despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Garrapatita Futbol's Zacarias Lucila managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Lucila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the Garrapatita Futbol defense, Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Lucila. The Garrapatita Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Lucila should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Sindo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Lucila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Cai kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match.
