Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michele Rieger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Axenstein's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Michele Rieger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Bumba in the 6th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michele Rieger. Axenstein's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Michele Rieger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michele Rieger having to interfere. Axenstein's Michele Rieger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Axenstein defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michele Rieger. The Axenstein fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michele Rieger should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Bumba in the 33rd minute of play. Yannick Willi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Joshua Kimmich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michele Rieger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Bumba in the 41st minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ragnar Lodbrok's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Michele Rieger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Axenstein's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Michele Rieger despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Michele Rieger came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 72 minutes into the match, Axenstein's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Michele Rieger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michele Rieger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Axenstein got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Skaradowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute of play forced Axenstein's goalkeeper Michele Rieger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Axenstein's goalkeeper Michele Rieger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Michele Rieger however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Bumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Michele Rieger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Axenstein fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
