After having played for 29 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuralp Tuğlu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 30 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, BAMBİNO's Nuralp Tuğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 42nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haldun Kamver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuralp Tuğlu made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuralp Tuğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute of the match, Tomas Illescas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Haldun Kamver was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Haldun Kamver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute. Nuralp Tuğlu struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When Nuralp Tuğlu fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
