Artur Brudzisz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Artur Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 7th minute of the match. Artur Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Bacardi Black Bats's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 17th minute Horaţiu Bacalbașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 19th minute of play. Artur Brudzisz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, Horaţiu Bacalbașa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bacardi Black Bats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 35th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by Hermenegildo Rebelo in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Artur Brudzisz was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Cristóvão França charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristóvão França hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 56th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Bacardi Black Bats's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermenegildo Rebelo in the 62nd minute. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 76th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes Bacardi Black Bats's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 79th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
